The Clean and Green Initiative's goal is to bring together Phillips residents around sustainability, litter, and beautifying Phillips. Residents of Phillips have consistently identified litter and trash as a top concern. To tackle this issue head-on, we are uniting with a bold goal: to place a trash can on every block!

We’re starting small with two trash cans in each neighborhood as we work to secure additional funding for more. Collaborating with residents and local businesses, we’ll identify the most critical locations for these trash cans, and we’re inviting businesses to sponsor them.

But that’s not all—once we’ve made progress, we’ll partner with community art organizations to turn these trash cans into vibrant murals that reflect our neighborhood’s spirit!
